Context
IrisLoan is a modern loan servicing platform from Loanova, a Luby Software brand. It connects U.S. institutions and borrowers through a transparent, self-service experience, helping lenders automate operations while empowering users to manage their loans with ease.
My Role
Since this project is still in progress, I can’t share all the details yet, but here’s an overview of my contributions so far:
Branding
Created a strong and distinctive visual identity aligned with IrisLoan’s core principles.
Design System
Developing a scalable Design System to be extended across Loanova’s product suite.
Accessibility Audit
Conducted a full accessibility audit to ensure compliance with ADA accessibility guidelines.
UX Writing Guidelines
Established tone and language standards to maintain consistent communication with users.
Light & Dark Mode
Documented both light and dark themes using Figma’s variables for easy implementation.
Developer Handoff
Delivered comprehensive documentation outlining business logic and usability rules for front-end and back-end teams.
Stepping into Design Leadership
At Loanova, I’m taking on leadership responsibilities as a Design Lead, mentoring fellow designers, reinforcing Design System practices, and helping shape intuitive user flows from concept to execution.
